Soljanka – Russian Fish Soup

In context:
Besides Borsht Soljanka is the most famous soup from Russia. It can be made as either a meat soup or a fish soup.  Russian soups are always rich and hearty and are served piping hot, often with pirogues. Soljanka needs to be made with fish that provide a good broth, for example salmon, halibut or redfish.
