    Salmon is delicious, but I always choose wild salmon to farmed fish.     Also there are huge questions about the welfare and living conditions of farmed fish. Farmed salmon often suffer from diseases and deformities that are not common among wild salmon, e.g. deformed inner organs, skin problems and eye diseases (partial blindness is not uncommon). A recent study published by researchers from the University of Melbourne and the Norwegian Institute for Nature Research (NINA) also revealed that half of all the world’s farmed salmon have impaired hearing due to deformed ear pots, a deformity that is far rarer in wild fish.

    So I prefere wild salmon. 🙂
