A Night Snack Where Heaven and Sea Meet

Ingredients:
300 g skinless and boneless fish fillets (haddock, cod, pollock …) [10,5 oz.]
100 g assorted nuts (take what you may have in your cupboard) [3,5 oz.]
1 red onion
1 teaspoon salt
1 dl cream [0,2 pint]
1 egg
2 tablespoons butter
1 pear
2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives

This is how:

Put fish, nuts, red onion, salt and eggs in a food processor. Mix for one minute.

Put everything into a bowl. Stir in the cream and season with salt and pepper.

Fry large fine patties in butter.

Just before they are fully done sprinkle with chopped chives and diced pear.

Eat freshly baked straight from the pan!

Served with buttered bread, strong, sweet mustard and ice cold milk or mineral water.
