BBQ Hot Dog & Potato Packs

BBQ Hot Dog & Potato Packs

Prep/Total Time: 20 min.
Makes: 4 servings

8 small boiled potatoes, cut into wedges
4 hot dogs (I would have cut them 1 in pieces)
1 small onion, cut into wedges
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup barbecue sauce

[1] Divide potato wedges among four pieces of heavy-duty foil (about 18 in. square). Top each with a hot dog (if you cut them in pieces it’ll make them easier to eat), onion wedges and cheese. Drizzle with barbecue sauce. Fold foil around mixture, sealing tightly.

[2] Place the foil packages close to the campfire for 10-15 minutes or until heated through. Remember to turn them at least once to make sure the content gets heated evenly.

[3] Open foil carefully to allow steam to escape before eating.
