Beef Stroganoff


1 pound round steak, cut in 3/4 inch pieces
2 tablespoons fat
1/2 cup chopped onions
1 clove garlic, minced
1 6-ounce can broiled mushrooms, quartered
1 cup sour cream
1 10 1/2 – or 11-ounce can condensed tomato soup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
6 to 8 drops Tabasco sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 8-ounce package spaghetti, cooked

Dip meat in flour; brown in hot fat. Add onions, garlic, and mushrooms. Combine remaining ingredients, except spaghetti; pour over meat. Simmer till tender, about 1 hour. Serves 4 to 6 – Serve over spaghetti.
Pass a bowl of Parmesan cheese. Each one sprinkles the cheese over his own steaming plateful.
