A simple yet tasty way to prepare potatoes by the campfire while
the rest of the meal is prepared in the frying pan.
Ingredients
1½ lb New Red Potatoes
1 large Onion
1 tbsp Minced Garlic
4 tbsp Butter
1-2 tbsp Worchestershire Sauce
⅛ tsp Cayenne Pepper
4 tablespoons chopped tomatoes
4 tablespoons chopped pickled gherkins
Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
[1] Slice potatoes and onion into ⅛ – ¼” slices.
[2] Place on 4 piece of aluminum foil large enough to fold over and to be able to roll up edges.
[3] Top with garlic, butter, Worchestershire, tomatoes, gherkins and cayenne.
[4] Fold the packets over and roll edges to close.
[5] Leave close to de campfire ambers for 35-40 minutes turning the packets often.
