Crabs live on the bottom of the sea, from shallow beach areas down to 300-400 meter / 1000-1300 feet depth. In Norway, it is usually found as deep down to 50 meter / 165 feet and in areas with a lot of stones. Fall is the main season for catching a crab here. Then the crab are at their best, with plenty of meat in the shells and a delicious white meat in the claws.
Crab meat has been used to make patties like this in Norway for a long time. This recipe on the other hand they have been modernized via Eastern cuisines.

Pabst-ett was a cheese prodused by Pabst brewery during Prohibition. Many breweries turned to alternative pruducts back then. After Prohibition ended in 1933, Pabst sold the cheese business off to Kraft who continued to produce Pabst-ett cheese until at least the late 1940’s. If you want to try your hand at this recipe, use any cheese to your taste you think might go well with the rest of the recipe ingredients.

Beef Stroganoff (Russian: бефстроганов befstróganov) is a Russian dish of sautéed pieces of beef or served in a sauce with smetana (sour cream). From its origins in mid-19th-century Russia, it has become popular around the world, with considerable variation from the original recipe such as this one.
Various explanations are given for the name, presumably derived from some member of the large and important Stroganov family, perhaps Alexander Grigorievich Stroganoff of Odessa or a diplomat, Count Pavel Stroganov.
