A spicy lunch recipe found on prior.no
Chicken burgers are a nice change from the classic beef burgers
and this spicy version is simply delicious.
500 g [1,1 lb] chicken meat dough
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
2 tablespoons sambal oelek *
1 tablespoon of potato flour
½ teaspoon of water
Rosemary, oregano, garlic, chili or other spices to taste
1 bunch of coriander
1 ½ dl [0,3 pt] kesam or yogurt
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 garlic clove, crushed
* Sambal oelek is usually found on the
shelves for Asian sauces and spices
This is what you do
Chicken burgers: Mix all the ingredients together. Form 4 burgers. Fry them 3-4 minutes on each side or until they are done. Server with coriander sauce. Chopped gherkins, beetroot or grated carrot tastes delicious in the burger dough.
Coriander sauce: Put all the ingredients in a food possessor. Run til you have a smooth sauce and taste with salt and pepper.
Serve the burger with fried raw potatoes and green salad.
