The simple fish sauce gets a creamy consistency from cream cheese and a spicy touch of mustard. Please try the combination next time you cook fish.
This is needed for 4 people
1 block of frozen cod (450 or 600 g / 1 lb or 1,3 lb)
3 dl [0,6 pt] water
1 teaspoon salt
For the sauce:
1 1/2 tablespoon of margarine
2 1/2 tablespoons of flour
3 dl [0,6 pt] fish broth
1/2 dl [0,1 pt] whipped cream
1 1/2 tablespoons cream cheese
1 tablespoon mustard
1/8 teaspoon of white pepper
This is how you do it
 Cut the fish block into pieces. Rinse and cut the leeks into slices.
 Bring water and salt to a boil. Add the fish and leeks. Allow to simmer under cover for about 15 minutes.
 Meanwhile, stir butter and flour.
 Sprinkle with fish broth a little later, then stir for some minutes.
 Add the cream and the cream cheese.
 Taste with mustard and pepper.
 Serve with rice and vegetables or boiled potatoes.
