Grandmother’s Cream Pudding with Strawberries

Cream pudding is a dessert that awakes nostalgic memories in most Norwegians. Really a dessert worth serving your guests.

1,7 cups chopped strawberries
0,2 cup sugar
4 gelatin sheets
1,25 cups whipping cream
1 teaspoon of vanilla
0,2 cup apple juice
lemon balm


[1] Clean the berries and chop them roughly, then sprinkle with sugar.

[2] Put the gelatin sheets in cold water for approx. 7 minutes.

[3] Whip the cream and vanilla sugar. Squeeze the water out of the gelatin sheets and melt them in the apple juice, slightly heated in advance.

[4] Cool and stir the mixture into the whipped cream.

[5] Stir in the sugared strawberries and pour the mixture into a decoraive ring mould.

[6] Chill for at least 4 hours.

[7] Loosen the pudding from the mould and vault it onto a serving plate. Decorate with strawberries and lemon balm.
