Honey Brownies

The Hershey Company, known until April 2005 as the Hershey Foods Corporation and commonly called Hershey’s, is one of the largest chocolate manufacturers in North America. Its headquarters are in Hershey, Pennsylvania. It was founded by Milton S. Hershey in 1894 as the Hershey Chocolate Company, a subsidiary of his Lancaster Caramel Company. Hershey’s products are sold in over 60 countries worldwide.

Ingredients
1/3 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup honey
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 eggs
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup cocoa
1/2 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup chopped nuts
Your favourite brownie frosting (optional)

Approach

[1] Heat oven to 350 F and grease a square pan, 9x9x2 inches.

[2] In small mixer bowl cream butter and sugarand blend in honey and vanilla. Add eggs; beat well.

[3] Combine flour, cocoa and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in nuts.

[4] Spread into prepared pan. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan.

[5] Cool in pan; frost with with your favpourite brownie frosting if desired. Cut into squares.

Makes about 16 brownies.
