Honey Glazed Chicken

A spring dinner recipe found in “Fjærfe på Menyen” (Poultry
on the Menu) piblished by Den Norske Bokklubben in 1984
Honey Glazed Chicken

1 tablespoon of honey
2 garlic wedges, crushed
3- 4 tablespoon vinegar
1 tablespoon chopped merian
4 spring chicken


[1] Mix honey, garlic and vinegar in a large bowl. Put some merian in each chicken. Turn them in the honey mixture and leave them in the bowl for 2 hours. Turn them over a few times.

[2] Let the chicken drain, place them in an oven pan and fry them at 200° C / 390° F for approx 30 minutes. Server with an endive and peach salad, if wanted.
