Italian Sausage Mould

It’s a myth that dishes baked in the oven are harder to cook than other dishes. The fact is that once you have completed the preparation, the dish makes itself. Sausages also have the advantage that they are quickly done. As you see, you have good reasons and try cooking sausages this way.

4 servings

500 g [1,1 lb] smoked sausages to taste, in slices
1 chopped onion
1 can of tomatoes
1/2 squash. in cubes
1 clove of garlic
1 dl [0,2 pt] grated cheese
1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp pepper
1 teaspoon rosemary (optional)


Mix tomatoes, onions, squash and garlic in the mould. Add the sausages and sprinkle with the cheese as in seen in the picture. Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes at 225 C / 435 F.

Serve the mould with boiled rice or pan fried potato wedges.
