A delicious cake that you make quickly in an oven pan.
350 g [12 oz] butter
400 g [14 oz] sugar
3 dl [0,6 pt] whole milk
450 g [16 oz] flour
3 teaspoons baking soda
3 tsp of vanilla
2 lemons, peel and juice
Cheese cream with lemon:
125 g [4,4 oz] cream cheese natural
60 g [2 oz] butter
4 dl [0,8 pt] icing sugar
2 tsp vanilla
0.5 dl [0,1 pt] lemon juice
 Stir butter and sugar light and airy. Add one egg at a time and whip well between each egg. Stir the liquid into the batter alternately with the dry ingredients. Finally stir in the lemon peel.
 cover the bottom of the oven pan with baking paper and spread the batter evenly in the pan (long pan, about 25 x 35 cm / 10 x 14 inch). Bake the cake in the middle of the oven at 175 C / 345 F for 35-40 minutes. Cool the cake before you spread the cheese cream on top.
 Cheese cream with lemon: Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and whisk till you have an airy cream. Spread the cream over the cake and decorate to taste.
