Ingredients
a little over 14 oz. / 400 g herring fillets
0,2 pint / 1 dl finely chopped shallots
0,1 pint / ½ dl finely chopped capers
2 tablespoons sweet strong mustard
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons brown sugar or light syrup
0,2 pint / 1 dl cream
4 servings
Cut herring into pieces. Mix together the remaining ingredients and add herring. Leave it in the fridge to mature in flavour to the day after.
