A delicious salad with Greek type of yogurt, fruit and herring. Perfect as an accessory on the Christmas brunch table or buffet! A recipe with taste of Christmas.
4 spicy herring fillets
3 dl [0,6 pt] Greek type neutral yogurt
1 tablespoon sugar
1 small red chili
1 pinch of ground saffron
This is what you do
 Slice the herring fillets in thin slices obliquely. If they are salted, put them in water for 30 min before slicing. Grate the orange peel before squeezing out the juice of the orange and mix it with the sugar and saffron
 Leave the orange juice for 15 minutes letting the saffron add color and taste. Peel and grate the apple on the coarse part the grater and finely chop the chilli. Mix all ingredients well and let the salad rest in the fridge overnight before tasting it with salt and pepper.
