A recipe for delicious chocolate bars found on dagbladet.
When your sweet tooth needs feeding these bars will satisfy every time.
180 g [6,5 oz] butter (cold, in large cubes)
3 dl [0,6 pt] flour
0.5 dl [0,1 pt] potato starch
1 dl [0,2 pt] icing sugar
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
2 tsp vanilla sugar / vanilla
1 tablespoon of water (cold)
Whipped egg whites
 put all ingredients except the water in a kitchen machine. Run quickly to a dough. Add water towards the end if necessary.
 Divide the dough into four pieces and roll these out to sausages the length of your baking sheet.
 Cover the baking sheet with baking paper and place the dough sausages on it and flatten them slightly. Brush with whipped egg white and sprinkle with nib sugar.
 Bake the dough sausages in the middle of the oven at 175° C / 345 F for 14-17 minutes. Take the cakes out of the oven and cut them immediately into bars. Cool on the grid and store in an airtight cake tin.
