Norwegian Oatmeal Porridge with Fruit and Berries

Make a delicious oatmeal porridge for breakfast and add fruit
and berries to taste. You will not find a healthier or
better way to start the day.

4 servings

3 dl [0,6 pt] oatmeal
1 dl [0,2 pt] wheat bran
1 liter [2 pt] milk
1 dl [0,2 pt] hazelnuts
1 dl [0,2 pt] sunflower seeds
taste with salt
1 apple
1 dl [0,2 pt] raspberry


[1] You can fruit and berries to your own taste. in this recipe an apple and raspberries are used.

[2] Mix oatmeal, wheat bran and milk in a saucepan. Boil and simmer for approx. 5 minutes stirring constantly.

[3] Add chopped hazelnuts and sunflower seeds and season the porridge with salt.

[4] Cut the apple into pieces / wedges, and add apple bites / wedges and whole raspberries at the top of each serving, or put fruit and berries in separate bowls, so that everyone can serve themselves.
