Delicious hot apple pie. With ready-made puff pastry sheets, it’s easy to make a delicious apple pie of the delicious “grandma” variety.
2 sheets of puff pastry
6 tart apples
3 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons of raisins
1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
 Let the puff pastry sheets thaw for 15 minutes.
 While the puff pastry thaws, peel the apples. Cut them into thin wedge and cut away the core section from each wedge.
 Place the apple wedges in a rectangular non-stickshape mould(about 18×18 cm / 7×7 inch). Drizzle the apples with the sugar, raisins and cinnamon.
 Place the puff pastry sheets a little overlapping and roll them out to fitt the mould.
 Set the oven to 175 C / 345 F .
 Place the puff pastry on top of the apples. Let it rest for 15 minutes before you do, otherwise the lid may shrink in the oven. Prick the pastry with a fork.
 Bake in the middle of the oven for about 30 minutes.
 Serve the pie with whipped cream, custard or vanilla ice cream.
