A classic tea cake recipe found on mollerens.no
This is an amazingly good lemon cake made from a good old recipe. The cake is soft and juicy and has a fresh and delicious taste of lemon.
150 g [5,3 oz] butter / margarine
300 g [10,5 oz] sugar
Grated peel off a lemon
2 dl [0,4 pt] milk
300 g [10,5 oz] sifted flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
 Stir butter and sugar airy and white.
 Add one egg at a time, then lemon peel and flour alternately with milk.
 Pour the batter into two small oblong cake moulds or one round cake mould with diameter of 24 cm / 9,5 in.
 Bake at 150° C / 300° F for about 45 min.
 Spread the icing over the cake before serving.
