Oven Baked Cod Masala

Cod is perfect for everyday life when time is scarce, the family is hungry and you need a healthy, quick and tasty dinner.

But cod is also great as party food. Put cod on the table when family or friends get together for a nice meal and a good mood is guaranteed. With its firm white fish meat and its delicate flavor, cod fits just perfectly for everydays and parties.


700 g [1,55 lb]  cod fillets without skin and bones
1 clove of garlic
1 tablespoon fresh coriander
1 teaspoon garam masala
1 teaspoon of chilli powder
¼ teaspoon turmeric
½ teaspoon of salt
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
4 nan bread
4 carrots
4 tomatoes


Set the oven at 180° C / 355° F. Cut the cod into serving pieces and wipe them with paper towels. Crush the garlic and finely chop the coriander and mix both with garam masala, chilli powder, turmeric, salt olive oil and lemon juice. Turn the cod pieces in the spice mixture and place it all in a greased oven safe mould. Bake in the oven for approx. 10 minutes.


Heat the nan bread according to the instructions on the package. Grate the carrots roughly and cut the tomatoes into wedges. Server the cod masala with nan bread and grated carrots and tomato wedges in separate bowls.
