Easiest fried chicken you’ve ever cooked!
Frying chicken, cut in 8 pieces
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 cup oil
Combine flour, salt, pepper, and paprika. Roll each piece of chicken in flour mixture until well coated. Meanwhile, heat oil in baking pan* in hot oven (400°F.) about 10 minutes.
Put chicken in hot oil, skin-side down. Bake, uncovered, 30 minutes; turn chicken, bake 30 minutes longer, or until well browned.
*Large enough so chicken pieces will lay flat in pan.
