Pork Chops with Red Onion Marmalade

Pork Chops with Red Onion Marmalade

Number of servings: 4
Cooking time: 40 minutes

4 large pork chops
Red onion marmalade:
1 tablespoon margarine for frying
½ teaspoon of salt
½ teaspoon of pepper
2 red onions
3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons orange marmalade
1 pack of French beans


[1] Fry the chops quickly in a hot pan and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Remove from the heat and leave it with the lid over ¾ of the pan for about 5 minutes.

[2] Cut the red onions into rings and fry them in a pan over medium heat until the onions are soft. Raise the temperature and add red wine vinegar and let it boil. Add the orange marmalade and let the mixture get lightly caramelized.

[3] Cook the French beans in lightly salted water until they are tender but still crispy.

Serve with boiled rice.
