Roasted Sausage Sticks

750 g / 1,65 lb boiled sausages
2 tsp rose paprika
1 teaspoon flour
1 teaspoon white pepper
1 dl / 0,2 pt 50/50 cream and milk
1/2 teaspoon cayenne
1/2 teaspoon garlic
2 tablespoons Cottage Cheese
2,5 dl / 0,5 pt yogurt
2 teaspoons celery salt
1 teaspoon meat extract
1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
100 g / 3,5 oz butter or margarine


[1] Cut the sausages in finger thick sticks. Mix all ingredients from paprika to garlic, turn the sausage sticks in this marinade and leave them for a while to soak.

[2] Beat cottage cheese, yogurt, celery salt, meat extract and sugar well and cool for about 2 hours. Brown butter and fry the sausage sticks quickly in the pan till they are golden brown on all sides. Don’t drain off the marinade before frying.

[3] Everyone at the table dip their sausage sticks in the cold sauce and eat them.
