Yes, I guess I could eat that one. Hah, who am I fooling,
I could eat just about any dessert ever made

8 medium meringues (see below)
8 balls vanilla ice cream
3/4 cup chocolate sauce
3/4 cup whipped cream
Grated semisweet baking chocolate

Makes 4 servings


Alternate the meringues and ice cream in a tall glass. Pour chocolate sauce over them. Top with a dab of whipped cream and the grated cooking chocolate. Serve with bananas or fresh berries, if desired.

To make meringues: Beat 2 egg whites with electric mixer until soft peaks form. Gradually add 1/4 cup sugar, beating until stiff peaks form. Place meringues on a cookie sheet lined with baking paper. Bake at 300° F for 30 to 35 minutes.
