Sausage with Curried Apples

Sausage with Curried Apples

This simple dish based on only 5 ingredients; Sausages, cheddar, apples, leeks and curry are made in no time and looks as delicious as it tastes.

For this dish you need
500 g [1 lb] thick dinner sausages to taste
100 g [5,3 oz] cheddar in slices
2 apples
1 leek
1 teaspoon curry
50 g [1,75 oz] grated cheddar

Approach

[1] Cut the sausages in slices almost completely through and put the cheddar slices between the sausage slices.

[2] Cut the apples into wedges and the leek in thin slices. Put the sausages in a heat proof mould, put the apple wedges next to it and drizzle the leek, curry and grated cheddar over the wedges.

[3] Cook the dish in the oven for about 15 minutes at 225 C / 435 F.
