A classic Norwegian Christmas sweet recipe found on

200 g [7 oz] butter, at room temperature
3 dl [0,6 pt] icing sugar
5½ dl [1,1 pt] oatmeal
1½ dl [0,3 pt] potato starch
2-4 ss cold water
200 g [7 oz] white chocolate
Coconut, grated

Will make about 30


[1] Stir together butter and icing sugar. Add the oatmeal, the potato starch and the cold water.

[2] Roll the mix into balls and place them in the freezer. Melt the chocolate over a water bath.

[3] Dip the balls into the melted chocolate and then into the greated coconut.
