An old Norwegian soup recipe found on matprat.no
Ground pork, a few vegetables and a bouillon cube or broth are all the ingredients you need to fill your plate with this delicious, hot soup. Quick and easy.
250 g [9 oz] of finely ground pork
1 1/2 liter [3 pt] water + bouillon cube or broth
4 carrot in strips
1/2 piece of celeriac in strips
1 leek in slices
 Boil water + bouillon cube / broth and vegetables for about 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
 Use a bowl of lukewarm water and a big teaspoon to make small meatballs. Dip one hand and the spoon in the water and scoop up a spoonfull of ground pork and form the balls in in the palm of your hand with the spoon.
 Add the meatballs to the soup. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the balls simmer for 5 minutes.
 Serve the soup with wholemeal bread.
