Velvet Porridge

4 tablespoons margarine
0,6 pt. / 3 dl flour
3 pt. / 1 1/2 l milk
1 1/2 tsp. salt

4 servings

Bring the milk to a boil. Melt margarine in a saucepan. Add the flour and stir until everything is well mixed. Dilute with the boiling milk a little at the time. Stir until the porridge is completely smooth between each new round of milk. Let the porridge boil for 5 -10 minutes. Add salt to taste.

Server the porridge with berry juice diluted in ice cold water, a lump of melting butter, sugar and cinnamon.

  5. Good morning, now I tried this, this morning for breakfast. I absolutely loved the taste, however the texture for me was lumpy, I found it really difficult to make it without it just conjealing in to having these lumps, I used a wooden spoon and followed directions, then tried a whisk, is there some magic way to avoid this as it unfortunately put everyone off due to this, but as the taste is so nice would like to try again some time xx
