A recipe for some juicy and sweetish rolls that are just

Apple Rolls

These apple rolls are extra succulent and naturally sweet and can be made with all types of apples. Perfect for the picnic basket or a lunch.

Ingredients
5 dl [1 pt] fat reduced milk or water
1 package yeast
4 tablespoons oil
2 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp of ground cardamom
2 apples (about 3 dl/0,6 pt when grated)
2 dl [0,4 pt] rolled oats
250 g [0.55 lb] wholemeal wheat
about. 700 g [1,55 lb] flour
Water for brushing and sesame seeds for decoration

Will make about 16 rolls

Approach

[1] Warm the milk to 37° C / 98,5° F. Crumble the yeast into the lukewarm milk. Add the rest of the ingredients. Work the dough well. Sprinkle in some more flour until the dough is smooth and release the sides of the bowl.

[2] Cover the bowl and let the dough raise to double size in a warm place, approx. 30 minutes.

[3] Put the dough on a floured work surface. Cut it in 16 equal topics. Roll them to buns and place them on a baking sheet covered with baking paper. Cover the apple rolls with a kitchen towel and leave them to rise to double size, approx. 30 minutes.

[4] Brush the apple rolls lightly with water and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake them at 220° C / 430° F for approx. 10 minutes. Cool on a rack.
