Oatmeal Cookies with Raisins

A simple cookie recipe from “Norsk Ukeblads Store Bakebok”
(Norsk Ukeblad’s Big book on Baking) published in 1984

Oat Cookies with Raisins

The recipe gives about 50 cakes.

3 dl [0,6 pt] oatmeal
125 g [4,4 oz] butter or margarine
3 tablespoons water
1 1/2 dl [0,3 pt] sugar
1 1/2 dl [0,3 pt] raisins
2 1/2 dl [0,5 pt] flour
1 teaspoon hartshorn salt


[1] Melt the butter/margarine in the water and pour it over the oatmeal in a bowl. Mix in the remaining ingredients. Roll small balls of dough between your hands and place them on a greased baking sheet.

[2] Bake the cookies in the middle of the oven at 175 C / 345 F for about 10 min.

[3] Let the cookies cool on the grid.
